Amy Winehouse Causes a Splash in St Lucia
It might be January, but that hasn’t stopped Amy Winehouse getting into her bikini. The singer has spent Christmas and New Year on the Caribbean island of St Lucia soaking up the sun and relaxing. She flew there mid December after reportedly suffering from a bad reaction to her post rehab medication which left her weak in a London clinic. She obviously felt the need to get away from England once she recovered and friends went to join her in St Lucia for the festive season.
The Sun newspaper report that she was meant to stay there for 2 weeks and extended that for another fortnight, she also flew her friend Blake Wood out for some company. A friend states, “The sun is doing her a world of good. She is looking after herself better and eating well”. Blake Wood, an American photographer seems to be a good influence on Amy who since being in St Lucia has been eating hearty local meals and generally looking after herself.
In contrast, husband Blake Fielder-Civil is stuck in jail to continue serving his sentence for assault after recently failing a drugs test and breaking his early release terms.
