Style: State of Undress is Sexy, but not provocative. Sweet, but not saccharine whilst evoking the glamour of the 1940’s silver screen and vintage pin-ups. Story: Both of the State of Undress designers originated from Vancouver, Canada with Alexandra working with the design team at Sonia Rykiel and then locating to London. Emma, a lifelong collector of vintage lingerie, found her interest focused by an essay on 19th century Parisian courtesans which was the topic of her final thesis.
